Back when Recovery (TV show on the ABC every Saturday Morning at 9am - 12pm) was at least bearable, they used to have a competition every year, where unsigned bands send in their video clips. The best video each year won a chance to play on Recovery, and also a spot in the Pushover (a festival thing like "The Big Day Out" only filled with Australian bands) lineup.
In 1997, Adam Said Galore entered with their video clip of 'Balancing on a Pin' (on the EP 'Domino Comfort') and amazingly enough, they won!
So off to Melbourne they went (yay for me!!) and performed on Recovery, then headed off to Pushover (my only ever Adam Said Galore show). I must say I was impressed with their show. Although it was only for 20 mins. Definately the highlight of the festival (although following Simon around for awhile was a bit of fun too) and I can't wait to see them again. A year and a half is WAY too long I must say!
Coincidently 'Domino Comfort' was released only 2 days after, which was great publicity for the boys! Anyways, I took my trusty camera along with me, and *only* (godammit) got 3 shots of the guys. So, here they are.
